This panel discussion was conceived and organized by the Co-President of the Harvard Black Alumni Society of New York, Enoch Woodhouse AB'07, with support from the Harvard Alumni Association, the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Scholastic Inc. and the America's Promise Alliance.

For the past six years, the
Harvard Black Alumni Society, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, has sought to support Harvard’s Black alumni professionally, socially and intellectually - enabling them to be a powerful force for justice and truth in the community.  In support of that mission, the Harvard Black Alumni Society of New York (HBASNY), among other programming, hosts a series of events designed to promote informed discourse with diverse stakeholders about issues relevant to the African American community.
